At the risk of giving away a smallish-auction site, I have to point this out. It is pick-up only, but for someone in "Central Indiana West" this may be an interesting get.

This site has tons of tube radios for sale, and I've seen ham radio equipment as well. Try not to bid against me, please!

(I am in no way affiliated with the site or the auction)

*edit* to be clear, I am not bidding on either of these items myself

If that's you on the bose wave radio at 252 bux, i think you're safe...................... LOL

NOPE! I do actually have a pair of Bose 6.2's so that I can A/B them for friends versus a pair of Marantz Imperial 5s, but only to win beer bets about how much better the Marantz are. I live on the wrong coast for most of their shipping, so I stick with their book section. I've actually gotten a few really good books for my collection of Charleston-related stuff. I do like to browse the electronics, and I've wondered if it would be worth getting one of the little tube radios to play around with... but I'd prolly shock myself sillier. I've seen so many interesting things pass through those auctions, that I just began to feel guilty about not posting the site here so more AK'ers could have a lookie - I know how much fun going to the B&M Goodwills can be.
