Hi Rich,
It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife and get a listen to those HPM's. They sounded might good on your system. The work you're doing to refurbish your equipment and mix your tunes is great and I hope you have continued success in finding the right stuff. You certainly have a great start on your Pioneer Rack!! I'm sure the Quad or Stacked HPM wil be awesome.
Webb - Thanks for the recommendations on food. I tried to get out a bit for some local grub but didn't have a lot to work from in terms of recommendations. Did have a chance to eat at some places near the northern end of town - The Wildflower, Risky Business Bar and Grille, Sakura's (sushi) which were all pretty good. I kept smelling the BBQ wafting up from The Last (or Lost?) Territory but didn't get a chance to go in...pity, I love a good BBQ rib!! Next time I get out to Tucson, I 'll give your recommnedations a try.
WW - Sorry couldn't get together with you but next time I'm out there, I'll look you up and see what new speaker you're working on next. At least you had as good score with the garage sale (you did have a little money didn't you
) and got to meet Rich in the process.
It's always fun to check out the Vintage scene in other locales while traveling and great to meet other AK denizens along the way. Till next time.
Regards,
Bart
