HPM 60 Capacitor/Resistor upgrades

I have not posted in awhile, but thought I would ask this.
Can't seem to find anyone who has done capacitor/resistor upgrades to the HPM-60's (I think these are Series one - the woofers having the treated cloth surrounds). Specifically, what types/brands/combinations of caps/resistors did anyone find that seemed to make the best improvements.


I have tried searching thru past threads on this, but I'm not getting anything.

There are some auctions on ebay where you can see the components of the cross over:

6 Ohm 5 watt resistor
.3uf e-cap
2 films one is a 3uf no clue on the other.

Alot of people like Solen Films for cross overs and they are not that expensive. If you are adventurous you can bypass a Solen with a Sonicap.

I was just curious to know if someone had used a specific brand of cap that really made the speaker wake up.
