Hpm 60, crossover settings

Hi
Total dummy question here.

I'm currently using a pair of HPM 60's on my setup, but I don't have a clue when it comes to setting up the crossover dials.
I mean, I really don't understand what they are for or how I should have them set to get the best out of the speakers.

Any help and some kind of explanation as to what they are for, and do would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks for looking

adjust to YOUR preference. it's really that simple

they are level controls, not crossover controls

OK, I know this is going to sound really stupid, but what am I actually adjusting ?, I thought that all the sound adjustment was done through the Amp.

I've just never used speakers with any kind of dials or anything before.
Are the "Mid" and "High" supposed to adjust the Mid and High range frequency or something.

Thanks again
