Huge Country/Bluegrass, Blues, New Orleans/Jazz Score!

I SCORED a lot of about 300 LP's, all in excellent condition this weekend. It's loaded with Country/Bluegrass, Blues, New Orleans/Jazz and more. Probably every Doc Watson, Merle/Hank & other popular names. But this thread isn't about them, or to brag (OK, a Little) it's about some of the lesser known artists, many I never heard of. I’m having a blast reading the liners and Googling the names, and listening to some great music of course!

I'm not the best at reviewing but I'll give it a whirl anyway.

First Up; Sparky Rucker, Cold and lonesome on a Train. Great acoustical Blues, including covers of many of the Robert Johnson Classics. As a huge fan of this music, a definite keeper!! Google his name, he still performs and has a website.

Next; Capt. John Handy, Self Titled. New Orleans Big Band Jazz, Great Sax and Horns! I’ve been looking to explore more Jazz!

Next; Pigmeat Jarrett - Look At All The People. Great Blues classics. Pigmeat was a piano player, so the versions are somewhat on the Jazzy/upbeat side. Some of the best harmonica playing I’ve ever heard! Died in 1995 at the tender age of 95!

I’ll be digging in further, and report back.
