I just hope is strong enough to support five, six or more people riding in tandem, in case they decide to do that on their last day of school.

Remember that water slide accident in California a few years ago?........

I hope the students remember not to stand or walk too close to where the slides exit at the bottom! Cool, fun idea, though - and time-saving! :thmbsp:

Wait till someone sneaks in at night and coats the slide with silicone. WOW!

At that steep an angle you would be hauling ass by he time you got to the bottom. Too scary for my fat ass. :D

Perzactly! When in university there was a building with spiral slides for fire escapes...great fun polishing those on Friday nights much to the chagrin of campus security :para:

My grade school had those kind of tubes for fire escapes. We had to use them from time to time, to keep them from rusting. We polished them with our bottoms, so to speak.

They were once very common in the Midwest USA. Although I will grant you, we didn't use them to get from place to place inside the building.

It's in Germany, not California.
It probably could handle the entire chute full in tandem.

Just go head first. That way if you hit anything you won't do any damage. :D

Very cool! After seeing it, I feel very tempted to try a slide like that. I'm going feet first though!
