Okay, so I've got hold of a JVC QL-Y66F, big brother to the QL-Y55F Servo Arm TT that I just LOVE to death!
Came with both straight and curved arms, manual, and that pesky counterweight insert for those heavier setups.
Thing is, it came from England, so it's 240/50.
The previous owner also decided to upgrade the interconnects.
I've got a power up-converter and the TT works just fine, however it has horrible hum issues.
I'm assuming that the problem most likely lies in the replaced interconnects.
Is there a chance the transformer in the TT could cause audible interference with the rest of my 60 cycle gear?
I've gone through all the usual steps, even tried other TT's and external preamps.. no issues, it's def the TT.
Oh, and the hum continues when the TT 's power cable is unplugged. (Although it is reduced, slightly)

EDIT. Fixed it. It was the interconnects.
