no idea where something like this should be posted on ak so here goes...

attempting to piece together basic research on various simple topics as they relate to human health and maintaining homeostasis. having a phd is not required nor do i posses such a thing as it pertains to the medical/healthcare/medicare/medicaid/dont-remember-eating-that industries.

it will also be easier, when talking to somebody out in the world, pointing to a url instead of trying to remember what the search results said.

content cadence unknown, to be established.

i suppose another suitable disclaimer: the accuracy and or validity of reference material(s) might be of question to some extent aka garbage in = garbage out. as well as, results may vary from person to person.

first topic of research: kidney stones

with the november holiday fast approaching this should be of interest.

figuring out what composition the stone is seems to be more than a little important.

calcium oxalate or calcium phosphate
uric acid (hello gout)
struvite
cystine

most common seems to be oxalate/phosphate which is difficult to dissolve after construction in the kidney. some mention of lemon or lime juice added to water or a different citric acid boost like apple cider vinegar.

edta was mentioned as having an effect of dissolving or reducing the common composition stone but there are some hazards about its utilization.

*6 types

obviously proper hydration helps reduce the supersaturation issue playing out inside the kidney. having a genetic disposition for stones doesnt help. blood tests can shine some light depending on what is ordered. having adequate vitamin d3 levels (its a hormone) will help regulate calcium inventory throughout the body.

assuming the person with kidney stones (a certain somebody over age 70 and owns/operates a vinyl store) has no electrical anomalies nor naturally fused vertebra +/- cranial sutures. a schematic for human electrical might help, dermatome mapping also helps (skin issues points to something deeper).

*chiro shouldnt be surprising, lots of roadmap variations on the internet.

and another rabbit-hole is created when looking at the larger picture of diagnostics, going from a dmm to an oscilloscope and then to an electron microscope.

*not surprising given the chemical soup that promotes addiction (like meth perhaps)

this batch of posts should be a suitable start, best to avoid the publicly available candy jar near the front door of the hifi+record shop.

might venture into multiple sclerosis (ms) or tinnitus next. both are in the cranial vault and csf (cerebral spinal fluid) is a common interface as well. washing metabolic waste from the brain, through the foramen magnum and into the spinal column. drainage into the lower system should be interesting to map out. too much csf back pressure not exactly a good thing nor turbulence, been there done that.

perhaps something involving the subarachnoid cavity like:
