I bought another revox b77 with great looking heads and 2 track 3.75 ,7.5 ips.
Want to turn it into tape project machine. Changing it doesn't seem to bad but I need a little convincing it's really worth it. I also have a b77 4 track that sounds pretty darn good so I imagine 15ips is going to sound fantastic.
Also whats better to use, internal elec or doc b directly to head. And do you just run new wire from head to doc pre?

PRETTY EXPENSIVE. I have a standard B and an A High Speed. I don't know about the electrics as don't have one with Dolby included, though doubt you will need it at 15ips.

Remember though, when you blink, that is another foot of tape gone.:scratch2:
