I finally got a Yamaha preamp

I've been wanting a preamp so I can run the couple of pieces of Yamaha gear I have periodically. I bought the C-4 off off Carl ( 2broke4this) and he threw in a T-70 tuner. So now I have a M-70 amp, T-70 Tuner, C-4 preamp, CD-1 player and a CDX1120. Maybe I'll run across a inexpensive TT down the road. I have several decent TT's but no Yamaha. This attachment to Yamaha is all the fault of MarkB. :) Anyway, here's a picture of it before I move it into the rack. I need to find out what lights to get for the power, tone bypass and audio muting switches as they are out.

If your looking for factory looking bulbs PM dgwojo and tell him what you need. He should have everything your looking for.

Thank you guys for your help. I really appreciate it. Since none of the lights work I'm wondering if there might be a common problem that's preventing them from working?

Yep.. There all burnt out..

Those bulbs burnout very easily. I keep a dozen on hand at all times. :D You might want to buy some green and amber condoms also because the old ones are brittle and fall apart when removing them from the bulbs.

I threw in a couple 10V white LEDs for the green and am very happy with the green that resulted from that. The amber was washed out with the LED and still uses the bulb. I haven't had to change the bulb covers, yet.
 
I've had a few well known and respected pre's in my day and my recapped Yammi C-2A is the best I've had in system yet. I recently tried a newer, well reviewed passive type pre with a unique buffer, fully expecting it to be the new champ and although sounding nice did not unthrone the C-2A.

I have a C4 on the shelf that I've never tried and it will get recapped and then evaluated, but I have a lot of respect for Yammi pre's!
 
Here is the final resting place for the Yamaha setup. I have 2 of the extra TT's plugged into it so they get some playing time. A Denon DP-62-L and a Technics SL M-2. Now everything can be played so I can keep the caps up in things. The pictures are grainy fro some reason. Probably a loose nut behind the lens. :)

It's hooked up to a pair of Dynaco A-25's on a shelf above the power center and CD player. That rack sits right next to the main system so there isn't much room to place things.
 
Isthat the final place for C4? Be careful they run hot and need all the ventilation they can get on top: I would remove that piece of equipment sitting on it. Its a great sounding pre amp so enjoy.
