I remember as an 19yr old apprentice, every single morning, hitting my alarm and feeling hung over and wishing I wasn't the only apprentice at that shop so I could call in sick without losing my job, it takes a while to figure things like that out when you're 19yo.

I looked at sales over the last three years. Flip clocks are neat but they're not THAT hot.

I don't mind the cool versions with flashy colors and funky designs but the normal rectangular with fake wood panels reminds me of something I was tortured with for decades. Even when they started going up in value 20 or so years ago, I'd walk by, but they showed up regularly. The funky versions are much harder to find, I might have two around here.
