Good morning/afternoon all (depending on where you are reading this).

I got married last Thursday! We have been dating for eight years, and probably have known each other for ten, as we used to work together at our old job.

My wife Jen and I got married in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. We decided on a small ceremony, just the two of us. The logistics of getting my family members over from the UK, and my wife's family from MD and FL became something stressful. Even our own children, we thought about having them at the service, but then we would end up worrying about where they stayed, and stuff like that. Both of our mums/moms said that in end, it's all about us, so we should do what felt right for us.

We used a company called Jim Thorpe Elopements. It's a husband and wife team that organize coming to the Air B&B we stayed in, doing her hair and makeup, and tried to make me look handsome. They then drove us into the Jim Thorpe town center, and took some pictures and video around this area. Then, we packed back into the car, and went to Hickory Run state park, and got married right beside the waterfall next to the chapel.

Congratulations to the both of you in the tying of the knot. :beerchug:

You've taken your time in this bonding...a good thing!

Looked like a perfect day, and we (AKer's) wish you only the best for now, and for sunny times to come.

May your "togetherness" stay at the same high level, as you share with each other on a daily basis.

Good fortune to you both! I hope you will be as happy and last as long as we have. It 'only' took us five years to tie-the-knot. I was beyond fortunate finding a lifetime mate who appreciates a good sounding stereo. She didn't even want a tube cage on our, prominently displayed, power amp and there was no opposition to large tower speakers in our living room. May you be as lucky, leesonic!
