I have a ps3 that has stopped working ,can any body help with a remedy?

I hope this is not been on here to often but here i go,
The console will not turn on,
I push the power button and it trys to start up but gives 3 short beeps and the power light turn orange for a second and then to flashing red ,
if i push power button agian it returns to a solid red as if it was off,
if i push it again the whole process begins once more ,
i took it apart and it was dusty , so cleaned it ,made no differents , cleaned the laser no change
does any one have a idea??

thanks in advance ,im used to working on turn tables ,reel to reels and the odd amp so have a understanding of how things work basiclly

There are gaming forums that are probably a better bet than AK to get responses.

Have you tried to do a general internet search on your symptoms? So many PS3’s were sold, your problem has no doubt been experienced by others and the info for the likely prognosis for your unit is probably out there if you search for it or post on a gaming site.
