I don't buy high-end gear there (or anywhere, for that matter), but I like buying records in the hidden (not anymore) record shop they have in back. They have a lot of MoFi, Jazz, and audiophile releases. Today, I went there, and I spotted a MoFi issue of James Taylor's JT. It looked like a 3 year old had opened the wrapper with chocolate bar fingers. Perfect condition otherwise. One of the nice (very) guys there gave me $7 off. As a result, I bought Cannonball Adderley's Somethin' Else. They also let me clean 2 or 3 records on their VPI 17 if I'm extra nice
. Highly reccomended. I would go to them for high end gear. Once I listened to Gold Dust Woman on the 45 rpm Rumours reissue. With the E.A.T. Turntable and some $27,000 speakers, with some other high end gear. Best I've ever heard (well or course, since the system cost $60k+). No affil besides being a happy customer
