Hello so I have finally subscribed .. was just browsing about over in the BT section(s)

I immediately saw some good stuff ... looking forward to maybe finding some good stuff over there.


but interesting to browse around certainly.

gah.. in a good way.. more stuff I like fs in there... some decent looking gear and 4 reasonable amounts.


It makes me wish i'd bought less stuff on ebay..since the last 2 things I bought on ebay don't actually work :no: oh well... they didn't cost much..but it did have me looking for better options moving forwards.

I am thinking this may well be it.


sadly (i guess) i think I have reached a point of critical mass where I need to consider additional purchases more carefully and possibly be willing to see stuff go in order to make room for the new.


but some nice looking things on offer certainly.
 
AK Subscriptions.......

I wanted to reply to atarione and the other posters. I just renewed my subscription again, and it is definitely money well spent. I log into AK almost every day and have been doing so for about 3 years. It has been a life-changing experience for me. It took me over a year to introduce myself, and I received a most generous and warm welcome here, especially from Sandy G. I have never been associated with so many nice, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful people. I originally wanted to send in my subscription just in order to help out AK. I am constantly surprised by what AK has done for me. I have been turned on to vinyl in a major way (a long story in itself). AK then peaked my interest in vacuum tube audio. Later, cassette and reel to reel tape. And lastly, a fascination with tube consoles. Although I have posted very few times here, that is about to change in the near future. Very soon, I will submit a long post that will tie all these aspects together. Again, please consider subscribing, you will be so glad you did! Best Regards to All.

:thmbsp: I agree 100%! Best $25 I've ever spent to upgrade my audio system.

Hell, if it weren't for this site? I would've walked right by a pair of Altec 604Es recently. They were either headed for the dump or worse - just walled up in an attic forever!


(pssst, I've got a Tandberg tube reel to reel in the 'Auctions for AK' up there in the subscribers section going for a song, IMO:D.)
 
Subscription costs about the same as a hardback book but this forum offers substantially more useful information.
