I have a 2002 S-10 with the 4.3, automatic, lowered, and supercharged. Its my speaker hauling vehicle.
But dammit I just passed 100k and all type of **** is breaking.
Last week I had to replace the heater core......got it done.....12 hours later. Had to remove the dash...
A couple of months ago I had to replace all of the injectors. Not so much the trucks fault as the damn ethanol they are making us use...
Today I rebuilt the front end. It was not driving right and making lots of noises. It would change lanes by itself. So, 4 ball joints, 2 tie rod ends, an idler arm, and lowering it some more it rides great now.
I know its the nature of the game with these trucks and passing 100k. And with it being lowered is even harder on the suspension.
But dammit it needs to let my pocketbook fill back up before something else goes wrong.....
