I got the Duet-2 up and running a bit ago....wow! This thing is fantastic. I haven't dug out my condenser mics (buried in the closet somewhere) but on my finicky ribbon mic, it sounds incredible. It maintains all the warmth of the mic, without imparting anything of its own. And it makes a helluva DAC/headphone amp as well, just listening to old recording on iTunes. I was pretty shocked how easy it was to set up and figure out. Garage band was pretty easy to figure out, too, at least the basic "ok, I'm going to record a track and overdub" extent that I got to in an hour. I figure it only gets better from here but all the noise issues I had with the previous Bellari unit are gone, and so is the massive amount of RF interference that was coming in here.
