I think this was a good buy all N.O.S.

I'm becoming swayed, but proving the exact manufacturing location is difficult. I just looked at a bunch of old Type II and III styli and markings vary. I also looked at a NOS Astatic for Shure and it may have been made to specs, but the workmanship is nowhere near Shure standards. The ones in the photo that say Shure in red do seem legit.
