Still rain just north of Detroit....my buddy just north of marine city said ice on and off but that was at 8 o'clock ish.

Good luck there brother. Here in Tennessee it seems we get hit with these more often than in the past. It has taught me to prune those limbs back in the warmer months and to keep a kerosene heater with fuel supply ready for emergencies.

What time does the hockey game start . Been awhile since I had the skates on . Ya just have to love winter in Michigan . Sometimes it's tough other times I wouldn't trade it for anything . Drop the puck let's get the game going ::)

Put up with a lot of non-sense in Kalifornia but sometimes I'm glad to be here.
I lived in So-Cal for a bit....they have ice-rinks there to... they're in nice Air-conditioned buildings....not outside! LOL! Nor -Cal is my favorite though. I had a girlfriend When I was in Louisiana for a bit, she came up with me to Michigan in the winter and was saying " It's pretty for a day, we have to scrape the car windows???WTF??....your family lives in a icebox! " LOL....to live with out winter.

We're between Clare and Cadillac.
Nothing as bad as forecast said. Freezing drizzle Sat. morning looked like it was going to be bad, but then it stopped and didn't do much for the rest of the day except for a light dusting of snow.
Óvernight flurries accumulated to about 2".
Not nearly what was predicted.

All the crapola went thru here ystrday/last nite. De Wife & I went to a fave Choke 'n' Puke for supper, couple big bolts of Lightning, but the thunderation was drowned out by the a/c/heating system. Think it rained pretty good all nite long, but today has been GORGEOUS all day long, don't even really need a coat on. Might even venture up to the farm, & FINALLY shoot my 50 cal Desert Eagle... My sister-Bless her heart-has PROMISED she'll have me Arrested if I ever go back to my ex-family farm-my dad willed it to her-might have to see how much **** she really has in her neck, if you follow. An' SHE don't have a .50 Deagle, either... Mbwahahahahaha..

Best memories - skating on Wilcox Lake at night. With the nice fire in the chalet thingy where you put on / took off your skates. Maybe even some hot cocoa - dunno, I'm painting this picture from memory. And Cass Benton when it meant toboggans not drugs. Oh - don't get me started - Sixth Grade Winter Camp !!! You don't go to school for a whole week cuz your class is out in the woods living in cabins, learning to make fires, listening to garage bands in the big gym, assuming the guys in your class already had one, or two ... which was a pretty safe assumption.

High level stress Sat night, fearing power loss with predicted ice rain. Rain quickly turned to lite snow around 8pm and temp dropped to low around 19deg.
Had to drive my daughter to Flint to catch a ride back to MTU at 6am this morning. Driving very bad on NB I-75 no plows or salt. By daylight things improved, could have been a lot worse. I think we got lucky this time.
