Hello,
After 8+ years of trouble free problems, one of my Yamaha HS80M monitors seems to have gone out. The issues are:
- no sound (this has been double checked to ensure it's not the cables or interface).
- when I turn the monitor off and on, it makes a loud pop and the woofer pops. This is a short video, in which I turn the damaged speaker off/on, and then do the same with the speaker that functions well: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1gydx724yh60foa/2019-08-18 13.26.51.mp4?dl=0
Might anyone have ideas on what causes this or how to fix it?
