Identify a 6CA4?

I found an extra EZ81 rectifier diode in my stash. Didn't even remember I had the thing. Can anyone point me towards some pages where I might be able to identify the actual manufacturer? Obviously the Shack didn't build it... :)

There's a letter B stamped in the bottom of the tube. The photo doesn't show it well.

My understanding, though I don't remember where it comes from, is that they were sourced out of japan. I have some RS el84's. They sound lifeless and anemic compared to my Mullards. In fact, My Sovteks easily outperform them.

Actually, most of the realistic branded tubes were korean made, Especially true for their "lifetime" realistic tubes. Wonder which company really made them.

Depends on which era the tubes come from. You'd be surprised who was willing to private label for them. In the 1960's many realistic tubes came from Germany and the UK.
