Identifying 1980s driver

I have a pair of bookshelf speakers that were built by a friend in the 1980s. The foam on the drivers has dried and crumbled, I’m trying to identify the driver manufacturer and model. The identifier on the back of the driver is
CW6-401-4, 647, 67-93240058, G5. My memory is that they are Focal drivers but I could be wrong. Does anyone recognize the ID?

EIA speaker code of 67...is that not a Eminence built driver ?
Most certainly is.

Eminence may, or may not be able to give more info based on the rest of the numbers. Some drivers, and even their identification is proprietary to the company they were OEM'd to, and Eminence will not overstep that propriety.

Looks like the in-house Eminence part number for that driver was 624, and it was built on the 24th week of 1993. So, if the speakers were originally from the 1980s, he may have updated/replaced the original drivers sometime later.

And, AFAIK, Cadence did sell Eminence-sourced drivers sometimes. So, both of the above claims may be true...

Regards,
Gordon.
