Identifying your JBL Speakers

Do we have a comprehensive thread on JBL speakers like we do on Advents?

May be arranging JBL speakers by manufactured date makes easy to look at one thread for all JBL identification needs. :scratch2:

Great idea. I always wind up on Lansing Heritage, perusing the old brochures until I find the model I'm seeking.

Not that I mind doing that.

I agree, a JBL model thread could potentially be a great source of info for folks. I also like the idea of arrangement by date. :thmbsp:

That brings up another point about the older JBL stuff. You might have a cabinet, but JBL might have offered that cabinet with a variety of different driver/crossover configurations. And the brochures are about the only way to figure out if what's in that cab is supposed to be in that cab or was ever even offered in that cab.

You would have to do one hell of a job, to do better than the Lansing Heritage Site.
