Idler wheels for Dual 1218 and 1219

Hi all! I have both a Dual 1218 and 1219, both of which work perfectly! I repaired/restored the 1218 myself, but had Bill, at fixmydual, restore my 1219 some years ago. Both tables are using their original idler wheels and both are in VG+ condition. While recently checking out eBay, I came across these interesting idler wheels from a Canadian firm called Audio Vault. Their idler wheels certainly do look excellent, but am wondering if anyone here as ever used them and can offer their opinions. Thanks in advance! Oh, and here's the link to the website... https://www.audiovault.ca/product-category/idlerwheels/

Thanks for the heads-up. I've never heard of them but I'm tempted to try one of the idlers for my 1019, even though it works well already.

Lots of metal and not much rubber on those compared to the stock idler. I wonder if they have enough damping properties?

That's what I'm wondering, too! Is the large amount of rubber on pretty much all vintage idler wheels part of the equation to deal with rumble or just the way they were made back in the day? Those AudioVault idlers sure do look extremely well-made, with excellent specs. I'd spend about the same to have new rubber put on an idler from Terry's Rubber Rollers!
