Hey Friends,

I need your help—I am looking for a great pair of speakers for near field use with my computer under $500. I have done countless hours of reading and have narrowed down my choices, however I am paralyzed beyond the following options choices and cannot make a decision:
  • ELAC B6
  • Wharfedale 10.1 or 10.2
  • Wharfedale 220
Please give me your wisdom and recommendations, I am also open ears to alternative suggestions. For context I will be pairing these speakers with a SMSL SA50 50Wx2 amp and Fiio 10ek DAC (USB'd to my computer, then RCA'd to the amp). I will be using these for listening to music and gaming. Side note: I really like the price and reviews of the ELAC, however I much prefer the look of the Wharfedales.
