hey guys, i recentlybought a whole bunch of yamaha stuff.
my yamaha rx-v357 5.1 receiver
my yamaha rx-530 stereo receiver which ive been running off a subwoofer out to my polk psw10 since the amplifier **** its self. ive ordered a yamaha yst-sw800 subwoofer. thinking of getting some new yamaha tower speakers, and maybe a yamaha 2 ch power amp. am i nuts?

So, you're a young gear nutter then.

I was your age when I got a Lenco Turntable and an old mixing console from an aunt.
So I needed speakers, a cdp and an amp to get things going.
This is where 'the trouble' started for me (I'm 29 now).
My guess is that most of us have had a thing for gear from a young age.

The only thing i regret when looking back is that I've bought many botl stuff, I should have saved up a bit more for better (both new and used) stuff and also put more effort into getting the most out of what I had. I ditched that Lenco after a while for instance, and at the moment i'm rebuilding that same type of turntable. :S
And I should have visited more bands!
But the journey into HiFi is a different story for everyone, enjoy yours!
