Image 4.6 speakers--White Van?

......or a hijack of the defunct Image Brand of speakers from API that included the Image Time Concept and Reference models.
 
Thanks cball for the part about API. A quick search reveals the speaker line called Image, but not this specific model. Certainly not white van. My mistake.

They remind me of older versions of Sound Dynamics or Energy towers from the 80s, which makes sense since API also owned these designs along with Mirage.
 
Can't be positive but I kind of doubt these Image speakers have any relation to the original brand under API which I think was defunct by the early 90's.

The logo is totally different, label is pretty plain with no country of manufacture. The lack of search info you came across on these speaks volumes.

I recall the great Canadian speakers of the day gladly displayed their home grown origins in the labeling.

As cball pointed out, the logo on the speakers in the first posting is totally different. But as Savatage mentioned, they do look well-built.

Perhaps the 4.6 towers were one of the last speaker models made by Image, with a logo change. Or, they are a good looking copy of the original Image line. Either way, they are so rare they cannot be found on the Net.

the 200 monitors are legit image speakers.the other ones I cant find either other than a reference to the lable being used as white van now.
