Image Bookshelf Speakers

So I picked up some Image Concept 100 brand bookshelf speakers yesterday, and I find very little information about them online. From what I understand they are from Canada, and a part of ANK. The speakers do not even have a model number. I hooked them up and found that one of them has a tweeter that isn't working. The other one sounds great, but I noticed it does not take much power before it breaks up. So I pulled the one apart and was very surprised. The wires to each speaker are 12 gauge and the crossover looks very complicated, definitely multi order. Just some quick background, I am a mechanical engineering kid that has just gotten into home audio, so my experience is limited. Anyways, I have attached lots of pictures. The tweeter has PL7D3 4DR51707 on the back, and the mid/woofer has PL7D1 4DR51714 on it. I am going to put the tweeter in question in the working speaker to determine if that is the faulty part. Any information would be much appreciated and I can provide more if needed.
UPDATE: the tweeter is in face the culprit. The tiny wires from the connectors to the voice coil are in tact, so at some point along the voice coil it is severed. It looks great though, no heat damage or burn marks.

Looks similar to a Snell crossover in its complexity.

Those were great little speakers, The tweeter is a variant of the Dual-Hyperdome that made the Energy 22 famous. Chris Cootes at ABI Trch in Halifax Nova Scotia can rebuild them but it's costly at 160 bucks Cdn. a pop...but it's basically a new tweeter when done, complete with a brand new diaphragm.

Not sure it's worth investing that much to repair those unless they really mean a lot to you.

They aren't worth it to me, I just think they are cool. I saw a guy that put an aftermarket tweeter in it and didn't have to modify the cabinet because the hole is so large. He made his own flange to fit, which is what I am leaning towards. I'm sure I won't be able to tell the difference, hopefully I can find a tweeter that will work with the original crossover. Also, when I said they didn't take much power, I didn't know they were 4 ohm speakers and my amp was breaking up, not the speaker.
