Imf crossover problem

Pink and black are from back inputs and I think the yellow went to the mid range speaker.

I would then follow the path with a multimeter and see where the break it. Start at the pink wire and then to the output for each driver to see if there is anything amiss on the crossover board.

X.O must be OK if it works when I put power to it,
My logic is that if the X.O gets a signal it passes it.
but its not getting a signal unless I connect the wire to the X.O from the input terminal.
Does that make sense?
With the wire connected to the positive on the input terminal and I then touch the other end to the tweeter or super tweeter they work, if I touch it to the mid range speaker it sounds fuller and more alive,
if there was a fault with or after the X.O that wouldn't work. Or Would it ?
Could it be that they just took out the tone control and X.O and didn't realise that there wouldn't be any signal sent to the tweeters ?
My understanding is that the tone control adjusted the mid and the tweeter output.
Thanks
Mike.

It sounds like you’re lucky, the drivers seem to work and it’s just a batter of checking the connections.

Attaching two photos of what the tone board looks like on my TLS 50s. Red and Black are likely the primary positive and negative signals that go right to the main crossover circuit. but there’s also White, Blue and Brown that are the filtered output from the tone board. If I were to eliminate my tone board I would need to splice that primary Red signal back into wherever those White, Blue and/or Brown (might be a ground connection) join the main crossover

Yes very, the hf2000 looks very tricky to remove.
I think the white, blue and brown might go to the mid range, tweeter and super tweeter.
I've priced a new X.O from falcon so now I know it is the crossover think I'll just replace the whole thing. Spoke to Jerry at falcon acoustics on which one to buy.
For now I'm going to connect the three wires to the speakers via the X.O .
Thanks for the photos and taking the time to help out.
all the best
Mike.
P.s I'll post on how they sound soon as.
Thanks for the photo and taking the time to help out

Managed to get them working buy connecting the wires to tweeters and mid, sound is a lot better but not quite right probably because the crossover on the speaker terminal has been removed.
Good news is all speakers are working.
Thanks to all for the help/advice.
I'll post back when I get the new crossovers .
Cheers
Mike.

That’s good news!
The replacement crossover from Falcon should set everything back to factory specs
Are you also getting the circuit from the terminal cup?

No, it's the 33 mb crossover from falcon, but I'm having it modified.
No tone control switch, which tbh I prefer, not that I'm a purist, I'd just be constantly pissing about with the switch instead of listening .
Mike.

Received the crossovers from falcon acoustics, sourced a matched pair of b110's and hf 1300's.
Sat listening to the stone's let it bleed, and these are very special speakers, well worth the money, time and effort.
Cheers again to all who helped out.
Mike.

Thanks, I also replaced the old screw type terminals with some nice banana plug types.
I was a bit worried that the new crossover might change the sound but it hasn't.
I've kept the old X.O so if I ever find a terminal crossover with the tone switch I'll have the option to try it.
