In dire need of help with Tech SL-J2 tonearm dropping to hard

I've been SCOURING all night looking for a post just like in relation to a post I made earlier trying to figure out the damping on an SL-L92 with the same drop-like-rock problem. Kind of a bummer it's this involved but at least I know there's light at the end of the tunnel and my cantilever will thank me (and you) for it! Thought it was worth a reply and a bump!
