In Search of NEC 6267/EF86 Tubes for M8 Monoblocks

A few years back I modded an Akai M8 with the tracker X mod to make a pair of monoblock tube amps. They sounded amazing, and I've listened to them a ton. Fast forward to today. My needs have changed a little, and I'd like to use the high gain input. I've searched high and low for the 6267's that were removed as part of the tracker x mod, but I can't find them anywhere. I've been through everything I own and am resigned to the fact that they are gone.

EF86/6267 tubes are readily available on line from various vendors--just search on the type. You can get new production as well as NOS. Jim McShane has the tubes (new production, used, and NOS) and the damper rings if you go to his website (no affiliation--repeat customer).

Yeah, that tube is easy to get . Amperex/Mullard are some of the best and Telefunken made them if you are looking for something rarer.
 
Thanks for the suggestions. I have been searching online, and found a few pairs that aren't too bad.
