Infinity for Dahlquist...worth a trade?

I have a chance to trade my Infinity RS5001 3-way floorstanders for a pair of slightly larger Dahlquist M909s. Both pairs are in very good condition.

DAHLQUIST M909
3-way, flocked anti-diffraction baffle, 8ohms
Manufacture Years: 1987 - 1990
MSRP: $1,500/pair

INFINITY RS 5001
3-way, 25-125wpc RMS, EMIT k tweeter, 6ohms
Manufacture years: 1989-1991
MSRP: $738/pair

They are asking $200 for the Dahlquists, which is about what I paid for the Infinitys six months ago. So they said they'd likely do a straight-up trade.

Would you pull the trigger or stick with the Infinitys?

Trade for a change. dahlquist speakers are great, i have owned several pairs. DQ-12 mostly. I always liked them. currently I have a pair of magnats, which were sold in the US under the Dahlquist badge. Can't remember the Dahlquist model though. Give them a listen, it could be worth your time.:thmbsp:
 
I have a pair of the lower down the chain M-905s and they are wonderful speakers. I can only imagine the 909s are that much better. The Vifa drivers they have are pretty sweet. The only reason the 909s are that cheap is because they are quite large and expensive to ship.

I'm sure your infinities are very nice but I would wager the Dahlquists have more finesse.

Any way you can A/B them? I'd be interested in your impressions.
