The IL10s were quite the speaker when they were released. Think Infinity maybe goofed and made them too good for their price point since the subsequent models at that price level never sounded as good. one of the keys to the IL10 is the cross over. From the factory came with all electrolytc caps mounted on the cross over board. Either replace them with film and foil or add a film bypass to the existing caps. you will be shocked at how much more open they can sound.
