This was a great read and I find it particularly interesting that another new owner had the exact same issue with the bass. That out of phase wiring causing so much loss to the woofers. I’m very lucky to have gotten mine completely original and unmolested in any way. A simple refoam is all mine needed.

I just have to ask, Mark B did you ever find the Gamma Box after all these years, hopefully you still have them and are enjoying them today.

I'm in an apartment so won't be using them until I move to a house. Cheers!

Well congrats on still having having them and finding the SCU, and I can understand that, wise man. I can’t imagine lasting to long anywhere with them in play….LOL…neighbors would be complaining in a hurry ! Even at low volumes that bass is monstrous. As of now I’m really happy with mine, without the SCU though. I do have a line on one but it’s an expensive asking price.

If all goes to plan, another member will be here in Vegas and we’re going to test his SCU on my speakers. That will determine wether or not I step up to buy one.

Anyway Cheers right back to you . I know mine are getting passed down I’d never sell mine .
