But this seamed like a good deal....

Have they really gotten that expensive this quickly? Seems like only recently they were selling for half that.

[Brunt]

Post restoration in my area they've been going for around 750-825. If the polydome is shot, then generally about half that.

I wouldn't complain if it was going up though, I've got a pair.

dreaming... Nice! Seller doesnt even take pics without grilles and only shows one speaker... all for 1,000... I sold a clean set of kappa 9's for 1200.00. 800.00 for 8's and 450.00 for 7's!

I agree, over priced.
And condition of the polydomes is very important, too bad there isn't a picture or two with the grilles off.

Although I suppose.. if everyone is asking those prices for them, does that really make them overpriced??

How are they supposed to even generate interest with those pictures? $650 and $700 as per "sold" listings since October on the auction site.

These are still for sale North of Rochester Michigan near the Lakeville lake...

Hopefully somebody appreciates them & will go and get them!

It looks like she's got several other items an Adcom 5800 amplifier Pioneer Elite CD player with a manufacturing date June of 1993

4 months later, guess that says something about the marketing (crappy pics) or the price?

[jberger]

I saw a pair of Kappa 8.1s plus a pair of Kappa 7.1s for $1500 today on facebook.

In theory, yeah, but they're getting tougher to find at that price.
