Poly domes absolutely do dent
If you dent a polydome , you really have to put a fist through it. The material (given it's still in good shape) has a natural tendency to bounce right back. And even if you dent them (completely in) the later versions (kappa x.1 and x.2) had a mesh dome behind them from preventing that.
You can easily pull the dome bezel and all apart and pop it right back into shape. Without any compromised result, it's not a a metal polydome (such as used in Genesis systems speakers) that remains deformed after being pushed in.
