Infinity QLS-1 Speakers - Pricing

I'm looking to get any info on what I should be charging for a set of Infinity QLS-1s. They are in good shape, recent Watkins driver replaced direct from Infinity.

I really don't want to get rid of these babies, but circumstances may force me. It is very tough to enter a negotiation without a starting point, and my only data has been this ebay auction, and they were water damaged.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I would be cautious about using that auction as a yardstick for QLS sales, though. My observation is that the typical historical sales price is more in the $1,000-1,750 range, depending upon condition of the cabinets and especially the drivers.

Given that there's a nice set of RS-1Bs on Audiogon right now for $2,300, which are frankly superior to the QLS in every way, it's hard to justify $3,300 for a set of QLS-1 unless there is some sentimental or nostalgia value to the buyer.

Just my $0.02, of course.

yeah, I wouldn't ask 3k for them. that's just crazy.

There are comparable speakers (sound quality wise) available for 2kish guarenteed.

I was just hoping to get 1500 and 150 for my Halfer DH-500.

I really don't want to get rid of them, but my new apartament (read: one room in someone else's house) will not support them. Imagine owning these and having the preamp turned to "2", then getting your door kicked down because of volume.
