This is really an amazing price for such a clean set in perfect working condition and recently refoamed woofers....and with original boxes, nonetheless. If you have the amplification and room this is one hell of a loudspeaker design to experience for under $1500.

Looks like the seller has Kappa 9's for sale as well, but the killer deal is on the QLS-1's.

I couldn't sell my pair on BT last year so I kept them. Maybe I should try usaudiomart.
And I was asking less than what this person wants.
 
I've had two people make me offers (one higher than the asking price in this listing) after hearing mine. I guess I should've taken the money and ran!

But the fact of the matter was I knew what an extraordinary challenge it is to find something that can perform at or above the level of the QLS-1's for the same kind of dough. They're quite special when you can give them optimum or near optimum conditions. Hell, they're pretty special even when certain conditions are compromised.

Those were a smoken once in a lifetime deal though and in need of some TLC, crossovers needed recapped as well as new surrounds for woofers and no original packing boxes, whereas the ones the OP linced to appear to need nothing and are listed as mint.

The sellers price on the ones in this thread does not seem out of line to me considering their condition.

PS. the pair from akron cl were purchased by me and are now waiting their turn to be repaired and brought back to their former glory. :yes:
