I always wanted to have a set..

I've seen asking prices up to $2500. These appear to be in perfect working order, and the cabinets are in excellent shape, so this is probably a good deal.

Regarding the woofer, I've seen the QLS with both a paper woofer (which these appear to have; since seller says they were professionally rebuilt, the tech probably treated the cones) and the clear poly cones. If the cones are black plastic (actually injection molded graphite), that would be the incorrect woofer, since they didn't start using IMG until the Kappa series came out in the late 1980s, plus AFAIK, they never made an IMG Watkins woofer.

I'm of the opinion that the mids and tweeters should not malfunction unless abused physically.
Power handling is quite good.
I've never blown any of those drivers, they are not fragile, imo.
