I use Infinity Quantum 2 and Quantum 3's in my home theater system. These are the units manufactured late '70's to early '80's. Each uses the famous Watkins dual-coil 12" woofer. The systems are acoustic suspension and have strong output down to about 25 Hz. The EMIT tweeters are good beyond 30 KHz. These speakers take gobs of power to drive, but are very accurate. They sound similar to the Definitive Technology line of speakers.

The purpose of this post is to see if anyone has for sale a pair or single Quantum 4 or 5 system. Or, do you have any spares for these Quantum systems?

You are very fortunate to have working sets of Infinity speakers as you have. I've always wondered what the Quantum series sound like when all is working properly. It seem like should fortune smile upon me, I'll have a system very similar to yours. Currently, I have a pair of Quantum 2s (in need of repair) and am going to pick up a pair of Quantum 3s this weekend (in even greater need of help).

If you use the search engine, you'll find that there are a few Quantum series owners here on the board, most all of which are searching for parts as well.
