Infinity reference four set on eBay

I have some primus 150 speakers that I love, but I want to get some better infinity speakers.

Having researched the reference fours on this forum, I feel like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/Infinity-Reference-Four-vintage-tower-speakers-/264393335859 are probably over priced @ $299 plus shipping, but on the other hand, I don’t know where else I can find a pair, so I’m tempted.

Is this such an outrageous deal i should forget about it, or is it at the top end of being an okay deal?

Don't forget that you'll have shipping costs on top of the $299; you're looking probably closer to $450 before they arrive (unless you're close enough to pick them up). Seems on the high side to me.

No. No need to spend money on shipping. For a pair of speakers in the $300 price range, just wait and searching CL/Facebook market/Offerup/Letgo and you should be able to find some locally fairly soon.

@ukalumni where are you located? That's kind of a required bit of information to figure out how much to pay for something. Also we might be able to make recommendations.
