my friend has an infinity renaissance 80 in oak finish that he's willing to sell to me. He got it new in the 90s and has been kept in a smoke free clean environment. Whats a low price that i can offer for them without lowballing him?

Pricing to me is always tricky. I always seem to offer too much. But, somewhere around $800 is the usual ebay starting price. Though, asking price and selling price are two totally different things. So, maybe offer somewhere around $500 to $650, if that's within your budget? They're worth that and more. Heck, I sold a pair of the Ren 80/90 tweeters for $350!

Just got a pair from a friend for $50 They are black and in great shape, a little white paint on the cabinets, but other than that fully functional and a solid 8 out of 10.
He was garbage picking at a guys house and the home owner said, "I was about to throw these out, do you want them?"
Quickly hooked them up and sound great, love the tweeter action! Miles Davis horns are crystal clear. Will need to get more power to them and will bi-amp.
He wouldn't take any more $$ so I gave him an old Marantz tape deck and a Magnavox Tube amp for him to sell.
