Pair available locally for $40 or less. Seem to be in pretty good shape, not sure if need refoaming yet. How would they compare to BA A70's as they are also an 8" woofer. Or maybe compared to KLH 23, although those are a 10 inch woof. I don't need them, but you can always use an extra pair or 2 as I gave away my KLH's 23 at Christmas.

I'm really not familiar with them at all, I believe the tweets have a pretty good reputation though.

If they are these speakers, then I would be all over them for $40. Anything with that EMIT tweeter is a pleasure to listen to and that is a great price!

anything with an emit is worth buying...Ive goat a pair of the RSe and im quite impressed with them, they are connected to a powered sub which rounds them out.
 
ive been very happy with every infinity speaker ive owned with the diffrent emits.

they are worth more than that in just parts alone, jump on it!!:yes:

Yup, $40 for a pair of decent Infinities is a pretty good deal. That's not to say they may not need work. Cab brace and recap the X-over may be in order. But they are worth the cost and the work :)
 
I bought a pair at a yard sale last summer, with the idea of robbing the emits for a project. But, my project probably wouldnt sound as good as these do. I am powering them with a Yamaha B-2. They are very easy to listen to, Not fatiguing.:thmbsp:
 
So, did you get 'em :dunno:?? If so, then post some pics and tell us what you think about their sound.
 
Yes, I did pick them up yesterday. At a discount. The woofers need new surrounds, but seem to be OK. One of the tweets wasn't working, but just needed a new fuse.:thmbsp: Condition of cones are all good, no pushed in dust caps or holes. Cabinets are in pretty good shape. Speaker terminals are good, just cheap push ins. Grills are in good shape, no tears. Overall very good condition other than the surrounds. Will have to order those, so will be awhile before I can give them a good listen.

The vinyl is wanting to peel around the bottom in a couple spots. They would look much better with real veneer.:yes:
