I have a couple questions about the external and internal crossovers on the RS-1B. The EMIT is crossed at 8khz and the lower EMIT is crossed at 3khz, while the EMIM is crossed at 700hz and the towers take over <700hz? or the EMIM's also take it down to 125hz where the next XO point is.
Is the external XO necessary for the mid/treb tower? Isn't there passive crossovers in the treb/mid tower to filter out the lower freqs? I keep hearing the external XO is not up to par with the rest of the system so hopefully removing the external XO if it doesn't do any harm would improve the system.
Has anyone experimented using a different crossover on the bass tower?
