Infinity SL-20 tweeter replacement

I have a pair of SL-20s (1994ish) in great shape except that the tweeters are dead. No sound. The internals are fine. Ive hooked up tweeters from a pair of old small infinity RS-11 just to see if they work (1983?) (4ish inch woofers) 902- 2213 they produce sound. they are just a bad match.

Do any of you have any recommendations for replacement tweeters that would sound good and hopefully fit?

Would any old infinity tweeter with the same specs (if they can be found) "match" well?

Maybe tweeters from the Sterling line are the same. 66B7E461-E6F6-49E3-A841-183C61E4CB5A.jpegThese are ss2002. Try the speaker exchange for new, eBay for used. An emit r may fit in there but not sure how it would work. They would be considered a superior tweeter but might not be a good match for your crossover.

Yeah, looks like them. Not sure though, you could call and ask them if they are the same and also if the front can be removed so you can put the sl logo back on.
