Infinity SL-20s tweeter reccommendation

I have a pair of SL-20s in great shape except that the tweeters are dead. No sound. The internals are fine. Ive hooked up tweeters from a pair of old small infinity RS-11 (1983?) (4ish inch woofers) they produce sound. they are just a bad match.

Do any of you have any recommendations for replacement tweeters that would sound good and hopefully fit?

The original tweeters are model #902-6363

Not much out there about these speakers. Do the tweeters have any markings regarding impedance?

I'm not familiar with a model called RS-11 so I don't know what tweeters you tried, but I suspect that Polycell tweeters from the SM series or Reference One/Two might fit the bill, assuming the impedance is the same.

IF the tweeters were used in other Infinity models or series there is a good chance that the 902-6363 number may have been changed as part of a production run. Rather than only looking for that particular production number I'd also search for Infinity tweeters with a similar appearance and specs.

Some Infinity drivers have had a few different production numbers during the course of their manufacturing run. EMITs and the venerable 5" midrange come to mind.

There's a pair on ebay now, with model #902-5226, the phase plug over the tweeter diaphragm looks like the same as your OEM tweeters.
The writing on the tweeter face plate is different.
Might be worth looking at.
