Info on Advent Ambers

Hi all,
I recently obtained a pair of Advent Amber bookshelf speakers. They sound quite good for their size and appear to be well made. I have searched everywhere I could think of and have found zero info about these. Any of you Advent fans have any info you can share on these?

OK, here are the pix of the Ambers. They appear to have 1" ring tweeters and 7" poly, or some kind of non-paper coned, woofers. They measure 17" high X 11" wide X 11" deep. They sound surprisingly good for later model Advent's, which I have always heard that Advent went steadily downhill, quality wise, after Jensen took over. I have a pair of Advent Baby III's which pale in comparison to these Ambers. I hope someone has some info about these beauties.

There's an Advent thread (search it) on the site with pics of all the older models. Those look new(er), someone will pop in with some info....they always do.

Thanks, I already went through the Advent thread and there is no mention of them there. The person I bought them from said they were rare and I guess he was right.

They sure do look like those. I have seen references to Advent Jade speakers as well. Must have been a series or something. Wish I could find some specs somewhere. Thanks for the help.

Old post I know but I have the Jades which have the same Tweeter/
Port as the Ambers & I think the same Woofer.

The Jades are a taller version of the Ambers.
I think I had the TALLEST Advents of that Jensen Era & they
were the "Eternity" 4/way W/passive radiators.
