Hey all:
In my continued pursuit of some kind of perfect vintage bookshelf speaker...
Just saw a pair of Fisher "Model 6" speakers on Craigslist. The price asked is a little high ($60) and the size is a little large for my limited space, but I've been very impressed in the past with the Fisher XP series (I have XP7s in storage awaiting a bigger home, and had a pair of XP-55bs that I passed on to a friend).
Anybody know these speakers? Any info? In the photos they look lovely, mid to late - 60s I'm guessing. And they'd probably play well with my Fisher 440T receiver if I ever get it back in working order.
Thanks all!
Roy
