Well Well...I do Like this...OK you twist my arm...Was going to do this on a Super Charged 1060...another Fall Project.

Thanks guys :o

Btw, updated blog with the LibreOffice drawing attached in case anyone want to use it. I printed and taped it to the board prior to drilling. Made it much easier

Great job!
I just did this with some banana jacks from a local surplus place.
I think the jacks work much better in tight places than standard
5 way posts.

Now if those are spaced at 3/4" for standard dual banana plugs and a bit further apart for the left and right (so one can not use a dual banana plug on the two inner jacks) that is one heck of an upgrade. I like it.

But are you holding out on telling us more about the LED light bar you used for the dial lamps?

Yup, looks great and maybe something I should do...

But I would have used head shrink inside the case, around the exposed metal parts of the banana plugs, even if there's no way they could touch, they look scary close.

There are one or two places where the clearance is pretty low, due to the toothed washers. Didn't notice until you mentioned it. Had to take a closer look :D. Electrical tape should work but wont look pretty so I'll probably desolder the wires and use some heat shrink

Thanks for the headsup. Just updated the post with a warning regarding this

Heat shrink added & photo updated. Meanwhile the negative white cables were replaced. Want to replace all of them but the positives are connected to the speaker a & b buttons. Pretty difficult to get to them :scratch2:
