Hi, any good suggestions on a best value integrated amplifier for Monitor Audio Silver 100 at three price range (i.e. <&1000, $1500 & <$2000)? I'm believe Monitor Audio Silver 100 is leaning to a bright to neutral sound signature and hoping to balance it with a more musical amplifier (leaning to the warmer sound) and a very good sound stage without sacrificing the details. I'm also open to SS, tube or separate preamp/amp combo.

Nice speaker choice! If these are new then give them 40 or 50 hours of run in before deciding on the amp. My MA Bronze speakers took about that long to smooth out but they are a very detailed speaker with pretty tight and fast bass. I use a small Yamaha A-S301 and it is flat as a pancake which is what I prefer. Maybe an A-S701 or A-S801 would be something to research.

I got a vintage receiver (Yamaha CR-1000 @ 70w/channel). Will there be a difference with the sound signature and quality compared to the newer Yamaha integrated amp?

I had an old CR-640 at one time and was neutral (maybe a bit sterile) with a pair of EPI 100s. The CR-1000 is probably a good step up but the caps are aged and might be coloring or veiling the sound at this point. I'd just try it and see.
IMO, most "high quality" and well specified solid state amps sound good and to my ears the voicing is subtle.
Mosfet amps are known (from what I've read) to be very *musical*. The above AVA that @davidb1 linked to is a mosfet. A few other manufacturers also make mosfet amp. Some, very pricey.
B&k is mosfet, and is well thought of, but they went out of business in 2010, or thereabouts. They were bought out by ATI, which also makes mosfet amps. B&K amps can be found for well under 1K.
I'm actually on the hunt for a B&K to drive my KEF 104/2's. I have a Sansui AU-919, but it's a little too forward sounding with these speakers.

I run mine with marantz pm-6006 and it sounds great.

Those are very good speakers and deserve a decent amp. I'm thinking the Marantz PM8006. I know they have newer models, but I prefer to stick with what has a proven track record.
Rega and Cambridge Audio also make some excellent amps in your price range that would be worthy of those speakers. But some of those Don't have a balance control. So check first if it matters to you.
